The Proper Ways to Use #Hashtags on Twitter
Hashtags are simply a way to categorize a particular tweet. With the recent popularity of Twitter, people tend to not understand what hashtags are and just to be hip, decide to use them at every possible opportunity. Let me clarify the proper uses.
Yes:
- I just opened a can of soda and it sprayed all over me. #fail
- #Thingsihate People who don’t use hashtags correctly.
- Happy #Vday to you and your loved one!
No:Here’s another tip. If you click a particular hashtag that you tweeted and you see that nobody else on Twitter has used that hashtag, you probably are not using hashtags correctly.
- I try to use #hashtagsineverythingItweetaboutfornoreason.
- #LOL you’re #lame and I’m #notlame, which makes me #cool.
- Bitts is a sweet blog. #bitts #blog #tech #sweet #updates #twitter #internet #earth
